Announcing Our Newest Staff Member!

Westlink Ag is pleased to announce the addition to our staff of Ms. Janetta Schmidt, Manager - Accounting and Special Projects, effective Monday - February 25, 2019.    Jan comes to Westlink Ag from the position of Controller at Western Building Maintenance – Boise, ID, where she was employed for almost 7 years.  Prior to Western Building, Jan held similar accounting and finance positions with Northwest Nazarene University (Nampa, ID) – Manager, Receivables and Payables (3 years) and Burns Paiute Tripe (Burns, OR) – Accounting and Project Specialist (11 years).  Before Burns Paiute, Jan worked for almost 5 years in accounting and administrative positions with the Columbia River Area Agency on Aging and the Wenatchee Valley College, both in Wenatchee, WA from where she was raised.  She is a graduate of George Fox University – Corvallis, OR, majoring in Project Management with a minor in Accounting.    In Jan’s capacity at Westlink, she will work in concert with Cheryl (Manager, Finance and Admin) and Shelly (Manager, Member Services and Logistics), initially focusing on Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables.  In addition, she will be working on various special projects, such as rebate fulfillment, budgeting and management financial reports.  This position will report to the office of the Executive Director and is expected to contribute to our ability to manage our growth and maintain our goal of  top quality service to both our member companies and strategic suppliers.    Please join me in welcoming Jan to the Westlink Ag team and make sure to stop by and say hello during your next trip to the Boise area.   Best Regards,  Jeff
